Rail communications with Khulna snapped

Rail communications of Khulna with other parts of the country remained suspended since this morning after some trees fell on the rail track.

According to the sources, some trees fell on the rail line in Alamdanga during the nor'westers, snapping the rail communications in the region.

Alamdanga Station Master Nazmul Hussein said the incident happened at 5am on Saturday.

The works to clear the line is underway, he added.
