SSC syllabus won’t be shortened further: Education Minister

The syllabus for the students of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) next year has been changed and the exam will be held after classes take place on it. It will not be shortened anymore even the candidates demand, said Education Minister Dipu Moni.

She was speaking to reporters when joining a ceremony at Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) on Wednesday (October 6).

Suggesting concentrating on classes the minister said, “Syllabus for SSC and HSC students has been condensed due to the pandemic for this year and next. Students will sit for the exam after the syllabus concludes. If they demand to shorten a shortened syllabus, it will not be taken to cognition.”

Asked on a recent report of Transparency International Bangladesh regarding corruption in MPO-enrolled educational institutions Dipu Moni said, “We have reviewed the TIB report thoroughly. We will hold a press conference soon regarding the study and the overall context will be upheld there.”
