Authorities have barred students from attending school without receiving the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine.
The matter was disclosed by Cabinet Secretary Khandker Anwarul Islam on Thursday. He briefed the matters to reporters this afternoon.
“The decision was reached on January 3 and the education minister was informed of it today,” said the official.
The rule applies to children between the ages of 12 and 17, he said, but separate instructions are in place for students in colleges and universities.
