Three militants held with arms, explosives

Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has arrested three active members of a banned militant outfit along with arms and explosives from Naikhongchhari upazila of Bandarban.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of CTTC conducted a drive in Naikhongchhari for last two days and arrested the trio along with arms and explosives, said DMP’s Additional Police Commissioner (CTTC) Md Asaduzzaman on Monday.

A press briefing will be held later on the day at DMP media centre to give details on the arrest, CTTC chief Md Asaduzzaman added.
