At least four people have been killed after a train hit a passenger bus at number 1 rail crossing in Narayanganj.
The incident occurred on Sunday evening in the city.
Officer in Charger (OC) of Nrayanganj Sadar Model police station confirmed the matter to TheReport.live.
Locals said, the train hit a bus of Ananda Transport while it was waiting to cross killing two people on the spot and leaving several injured.
Fire service and civil defence launched rescue operation.
Deputy Assistant Director Abdullah Al Arefin of Narayanganj fire service said, “We have launched the rescue operation. Efforts are underway to identify the victims.
