The transport movement was seen normal in the Nilkhet-New Market area on Wednesday morning.
While visiting the area at 10am, our correspondents found it quiet. They observed no abnormal presence of any Dhaka College students or traders on the streets.
A large number of policemen was seen present in the area. However, no shop was seen opened in the New Market and adjacent areas.
The area turned into a battlefield following clashes between the students of Dhaka College and the traders. Several people received injuries during the two-day clashes while one of the injured succumbed to his injuries at hospital on Tuesday night.
