The tests for university admission will be held in short syllabus in line with the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations.
Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni disclosed the matter while talking to the media at a reception programme of the ministry’s newly appointed secretary at the secretariat on Sunday.
“Bridging the educational gap due to the coronavirus is a bigger challenge. The educational activities is unlikely to restore in full scale before March,” the minister said.
All the students will be administered the coronavirus vaccine soon, added she.
“As the new Covid variant is spreading faster, we have to monitor the situation till March,” Dupu Moni said.
The SSC and HSC examinations last year were held in short syllabus on group basis (Science, Humanities and Business Studies).
The tests were held only for three papers excluding compulsory and elective subjects.
