To learn the application of BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia will take time, said Law Minister Anisul Huq.
He was speaking to newsmen at Judicial Administration Training Institute in the capital on Sunday (December 12).
Asked on the latest update on Khaleda Zia’s appeal for medical treatment abroad the minister said, “Wait, you will know.”
Referring to the US sanctions on Rab officials the minister said, “The allegations brought against Rab and other institutions are not appropriate and fictional.”
The minister said, “Those who believe in democracy and rule of law, they have a duty. That is due process. The accused must be heard before taking any action against them. As per I know, the people who were sanctioned were not talked to beforehand.”
