A day after cyclone Mocha made landfall, all types of watercraft travel was resumed around the country this morning, while it was halted on Friday.
According to Mobarak Hossain Majumder, public relations officer of Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority's (BIWTA), the water transport movement started at 9:30am.
Cyclone Mocha, which developed in the Bay of Bengal and made landfall on the Cox's Bazar-north Myanmar coast on Saturday afternoon, has caused BIWTA to cease operations of all sorts of water vessels throughout the nation since Friday night.
