SSC, equivalent results today— here’s how to check online and via SMS

The results of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations for 2025 will be published today, 10 July, at 2:00 PM.

The Inter-Education Board Examination Controllers‍‍` Committee confirmed the timing in an official announcement.

Students from across the country will be able to access their results online, via SMS, or through their respective educational institutions and examination centres.

The results apply to students under nine general education boards—Dhaka, Rajshahi, Cumilla, Jashore, Chattogram, Barishal, Sylhet, Dinajpur, and Mymensingh—as well as those under the Bangladesh Madrasa Education Board and Bangladesh Technical Education Board.

To check their results online, students can visit the official government website at www.educationboardresults.gov.bd. They will need to input their examination details, including roll number, registration number, board name, and exam year to retrieve their results.

Students can also obtain their results via SMS. For those under general education boards, the format is:

SSC

first three letters of board name roll number 2025, and the message should be sent to 16222.

For example: SSC DHA 123456 2025

Madrasa board students must type:

Dakhil MAD roll number 2025 and send it to 16222.

However, they must pre-register in order to receive results automatically after publication.

Technical board students should use the format:

SSC TEC roll number 2025 and send it to 16222.

All exam centres and institutions have been instructed to collect their results online. The Ministry of Education has clarified that the results will not be published in any newspapers this year.

The 2025 SSC and equivalent examinations took place between 10 April and 13 May. A total of 1,490,142 candidates appeared for the exams under the nine general education boards.

Among them, 701,538 were male students, while 788,604 were female. In addition, 294,726 students were registered under the Madrasa Board, and 143,313 students under the Technical Education Board.

The publication of the results marks a significant moment for over 1.9 million students across the country awaiting the outcome of their academic efforts.
