A case of unnatural death was registered at Gulshan police station over the death of at least two people in the caused by the fire incident at a residential building in the capital`s Gulshan-2.
Gulshan police station duty officer Azizul Haque confirmed the matter on Monday.
Azizul also a Sub Inspector (SI), said that a person named Rakib Hasan, 32, filed the lawsuit.
The law enforcement official, however, claimed that he was unaware of whether the plaintiff was a member of a victim’s family or an apartment owner.
The fire broke out on the 7th floor of the 12-storey building on Sunday night.
