The results of this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations will be published on July 10, according to sources at the Dhaka Education Board.
Earlier, a senior official from the board, requesting anonymity, had confirmed that a proposal to release the results on July 10 had been sent to the Ministry of Education.
The official later stated that the decision has been finalized, and the results will indeed be published on that day.
The 2025 SSC and equivalent exams began on April 10. This year, a total of 1,928,970 students, both regular and irregular, took part in the examinations across 11 education boards. Compared to 2024, the number of examinees dropped by approximately 100,000.
However, absenteeism was notably high this year. On the first day of the exams alone, 26,928 students were absent, despite having completed the registration process.
