3 people injured during quota reform protest die at DMCH

Three people injured during the quota reform protest, died while undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

The deceased were Riya Gope (6), daughter of Liton Kumar Gope from Narayanganj‍‍`s Noyamati area, IT technician Sajedur Rahman Omar (22), and Sajahan Ridoy (21).

Inspector Bacchu Mia, in-charge of the DMCH Police Outpost, confirmed the matter.

Among the deceased, Riya was admitted to the hospital on Friday on the rooftop of her house, and Omar was admitted on July 21 after being shot in Jatrabari’s Signboard area. Both succumbed to their injuries today.

On the other hand, Ridoy, who died last night, had been admitted to DMCH after being shot in Dhaka’s Mohakhali on July 19.
