The main road of Uttara area of Dhaka (Dhaka-Mymensingh Highway) has started experiencing traffic congestion for the next 14 days.
Starting from Tuesday morning due to ongoing Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project works, this disruption in roads will be happening.
ASM Ilyas Shah, the project director of BRT, has issued a special traffic advisory urging commuters on that route to plan their journeys with adequate time in hand.
BRT project work activities are scheduled to take place daily from 6am on Tuesday to 6am on March 18.
During this period, there is a potential for increased traffic congestion both from Dhaka to Mymensingh and vice versa.
