Foreign woman allegedly ‘beaten to death’ in Dhaka’s Gulshan

A female foreign national has allegedly been beaten to death in Dhaka’s Gulshan area.

Her body was taken to the Continental Hospital on Tuesday morning.

The deceased has been identified as 67-year-old Shameem Salim Kashim. She resided in a house in Baridhara’s Park Road.

When asked about the incident, an inspector from Gulshan Police Station said they had heard reports that a foreign woman had been beaten to death, but the details were still unclear.

He further added a police team is on the way to the scene.
