Access to all social media platforms including Facebook, TikTok, Whatsapp, Instagram and YouTube has been restored in Bangladesh.
Users were able to access these platforms after around 4pm on Monday.
Earlier, Broadband and 4G internet services were restored in Bangladesh on Monday.
The broadband internet connection was restored around 1:30pm after three-hour disruption on Monday.
Meanwhile, officials of mobile operators said 4G mobile internet services were also restored.
Mobile internet services were shut down on Sunday afternoon amid nationwide violence.
A government agency ordered the shutdown of Meta platforms Facebook, Messenger, WhatsApp and Instagram. The order was given to the International Internet Getaway (IIG) organisations after 1pm on Sunday.
Many people on Sunday reported that they could not use Facebook, WhatsApp, Messenger, or Instagram through mobile internet.
Additionally, users reported that they could not access any websites using mobile internet.
Later, access to social media was also blocked through broadband internet.
