We are better off than other countries despite the increase in commodity prices: Obaidul Quader

Awami League General Secretary and Minister of Road Transport and Bridges, Obaidul Quader has said that the people of Bangladesh are better off than other countries even though the price of goods has increased all over the world.

He said this during a briefing on contemporary issues at the Ministry's meeting room at the Secretariat on Wednesday (March, 29).

Obaidul Quader said, "Like the rest of the world, commodity prices have increased in Bangladesh, but we are better off than many."

"Product prices are decreasing. They will gradually decrease further. This rise is all over the world and not only in Bangladesh. Look at France or Germany. Commodity prices around the world are skyrocketing after the Russia-Ukraine war", he added.
