93.58 percent students have cleared Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and quivalent examinations in this year's examination.
In the history of Bangladesh this is the highest pass rate in SSC and equivalent examinations. The results have astounded everyone as this extraordinary achievement comes amid the pandemic.
According to data from education authorities, the pass rate has taken a leap from 82.87 percent last year to reach 93.58 percent this year.
The latest pass rate is a 10.71 percentage point jump from the previous rate in 2020.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina published the results digitally from her official residence Ganabhaban on Wednesday (December 30) morning.
The resuils were handed over to her on Tuesday (December 29).
The main event, attended by Education Minister Dipu Moni and chiefs of the education boards, was held at the Bangabandhu International Convention Centre.
Attending the main event virutally, the PM also handed over School textbooks to students for the coming year.
To view their results, students have to visit the education board website or they may avail it through SMS.
