Eighteen vehicles have been prepared for the chief adviser and advisers of the interim government, with a total of 21 vehicles arranged to ensure smooth transportation for tonight’s oath-taking ceremony.
The interim government, led by Nobel Laureate Muhammad Yunus, is set to take the oath around 8:30pm at Bangabhaban, official residence of Bangladeshi President.
The Cabinet Division has organized all necessary arrangements, including the transportation of officials from their residences to Bangabhaban for the ceremony.
President Mohammad Shahabuddin will first administer the oath to the chief adviser, followed by the cabinet members (advisers).
According to the Ministry of Public Administration, the Department of Government Transport is overseeing the management of the vehicles.
Eighteen vehicles are designated for the officials, with three additional vehicles on standby for emergencies.
The chief adviser will use a vehicle from the Prime Minister`s Office (PMO) transport pool, while the remaining vehicles are specifically arranged for the advisers.
