Arav Khan is the target of Interpol, red notice alert!

Rabiul Islam alias Aarav Khan, one of the absconding accused in the murder of police inspector Mamun Imran Khan, has appeared in Interpol's most wanted list.

In the website of Interpol, it is seen that 35-year-old Arav's name has been added to the list of most wanted as the 63rd Bangladeshi criminal.

Earlier, Inspector General of Police Abdullah Al Mamun told the media that a letter had been sent to Interpol requesting to issue a red notice against the name listed on the charge sheet in a case brought against a Bangladesh police official who had been murdered.

Aarav Khan inaugurated Aarav Jewelers in a grand ceremony last Wednesday in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. On the occasion of the inauguration, the logo in the shape of a hawk was made of 60 kg of gold, which costed about Tk 45 crore. On that occasion, Aarav Khan made several posts on Facebook inviting many stars from the sports and entertainment world of Bangladesh. Based on the source of that post, Bangladesh Police confirmed that Arav Khan is the same Rabiul Islam who is the accused in the police murder case.

According to the police, Arav's real name is Rabiul Islam. On July 7, 2018, police inspector Mamun Emran Khan was murdered in Dhaka. Rabiul left the country as the accused of that murder. Rabiul Islam first went to India after fleeing the country. There he collected a passport in the name of Arav Khan and went to Dubai. Now he is a gold trader in Dubai. Aarav Khan is staying in Dubai on an Indian passport. Bangladesh police is thinking of bringing him back to the country as an accused in the murder case.

On April 11, 2019, the Detective Branch of the police filed charges in the murder of Mamun Emran Khan, the previous inspector in the Special Branch of the police, against Arav alias Rabiul and nine other people.
