The record of highest electricity production in the history of the country has been made.
Around 15,626 megawatts (MW) of electricity produced on Tuesday night.
Earlier, the highest electricity production was recorded 15,604 MW on Monday.
Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) notified this issue last night.
BPDB's Public Relations department Director Shamim Hasan said that the new record has been set at 9pm on Tuesday, surpassing yesterday's (Monday) production.
Mentionable, country's highest electricity production record was only 3,268 MW till January 2009.
