Protesters ignited several significant locations in Dhaka, including the Bangabandhu Memorial Museum of former Dhanmondi 32 no. road, also known as Bangabandhu Bhaban.
Media reports indicate that the fire burned fiercely as the demonstrators chanted various slogans.
In a separate incident, the Dhaka district office of the Awami League was also set on fire by protesters.
Furthermore, the office of the Awami League president at Dhanmondi 3/A (Jhigatola bus stand area) was similarly torched by demonstrators, who continued to chant slogans at the site.
