Dinkal Editor Rezwan Siddiqui no more

Dr Rezwan Hossain Siddiqui, the editor of The Daily Dinkal and a senior member of the National Press Club, has passed away.

Also, a senior member of the Dhaka Union of Journalists, has passed away, Rezwan breathed his last at an ICU of a private hospital in the capital’s Shyamoli around 10 pm on Tuesday where he had been undergoing treatment for kidney-related issues, according to his family sources.

His namaz-e-janaza (funeral prayers) is scheduled to take place at 12pm on Wednesday at the National Press Club.

Born in Tangail in 1953, Rezwan also served as the director general of the Press Institute of Bangladesh.
