Dry weather, foggy mornings across Bangladesh

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast that most parts of the country will experience generally dry weather with intervals of partly cloudy skies over the next 24 hours, beginning at 9:00 am today.

According to the BMD bulletin, moderate to thick fog may form in places across the country from midnight through morning hours. Night temperatures are expected to remain nearly unchanged nationwide, while day temperatures may fall by 1 to 3 degrees Celsius.

On Saturday, Teknaf recorded the highest temperature in the country at 31.4 degrees Celsius, while Rajarhat in Kurigram district registered the lowest temperature at 12.0 degrees Celsius.

In the capital, Dhaka, sunset is expected at 5:16 pm today, while sunrise tomorrow will be at 6:37 am.
