Dry weather likely across Bangladesh

Tetulia logged the day’s lowest temperature at 11.7 degrees Celsius today, as the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) forecast continued dry conditions with periods of partly cloudy skies across most regions over the next 24 hours from 9:00 am.

In its morning bulletin, the BMD stated that “weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country.” It added that light fog may form in parts of the northeastern region during the early morning hours.

The forecast also indicated that nighttime temperatures could drop by 1–2°C, while daytime temperatures are expected to remain largely unchanged throughout the country.

On Monday, Teknaf recorded the highest temperature at 31.0 degrees Celsius.

In Dhaka, sunset is expected at 5:10 pm today, with sunrise at 6:26 am tomorrow.
