Sacked Awami League leader and businesswoman Helena Jahangir has been placed on remand for fourteen days based on four cases.
The cases are filed with two different poice stations in the capital - Gulshan Poilice Station, Pallabi Police Station.
On Tuesday (August 3), a Dhaka court granted the remand order, upon the completion of her 3-day remand order in a case filed with Gulshan police station.
After the accused was produced before the court, Metropolitan Magistrate Md Shahinur Rahman passed the order on Tuesday.
On Thursday (July 29), Helena Jahangir was arrested by law enforcers during a raid at her Gulshan residence in the capital.
A number of cases has been filed against her.
