Ashraful Hossain Alom aka Hero Alom has filed two writ petitions with the High Court seeking his nomination papers for Bogura-4 and Bogura-6 constituencies valid.
His lawyer Yearul Islam filed the petitions on Monday.
In the petitions, Hero Alom has prayed to the HC to direct the Election Commission to accept his nomination papers and allow him to contest the elections to be held on February 1.
The HC bench of Justice Md Khasruzzaman and Justice Md Iqbal Kabir may hear the petitions tomorrow.
