In a bold statement on Monday, Home Adviser Lieutenant General (Retd.) Mohammad Jahangir Alam Chowdhury assured that Operation Devil Hunt would catch everyone involved in criminal activities, from small offenders to the most prominent figures.
Speaking as the chief guest at a discussion on the overall law and order situation held at the Rajshahi District Commissioner`s office, the Adviser emphasized that the operation is designed to leave no one behind.
"No one will escape. Whether it`s a small criminal or a big one, all will be caught," he said.
The Adviser also acknowledged the cooperation between local residents and law enforcement agencies at the Chapainawabganj border in response to provocative behavior from India.
The joint efforts led to a strong reply to the situation.
Addressing concerns about false accusations, Lieutenant General (Retd.) Mohammad Jahangir Alam Chowdhury assured that any false cases would be given serious attention.
"If anyone is falsely accused, the matter will be thoroughly investigated. We are working to ensure that no innocent person is harassed through false cases," he added.
Looking ahead to the upcoming Ramadan, the Adviser expressed optimism, stating that prices of essential goods would remain under control and manageable for the public.
