The sighting of the Shawwal moon in the country`s sky signals the arrival of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr, which will be celebrated tomorrow, Thursday (April 11).
Following the inability to spot the Shawwal moon on Tuesday, completing 30 fasts, the National Moon Sighting Committee convened for a meeting at the Islamic Foundation`s meeting room at 7:30 pm on the same day, after Maghrib prayers. Subsequently, the committee confirmed the sighting of the moon, paving the way for the announcement of Eid celebrations.
In line with this, the National Moon Sighting Committee officially declared the Eid celebrations for Thursday, after convening at the Islamic Foundation`s meeting room at 7:30 pm on Tuesday evening, following Maghrib prayers.
