Youth and Sports Adviser Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan commented that nowadays, when posting on Facebook, one doesn‍‍`t have to hesitate or constantly delete posts.

"We can discuss and criticize freely, share our opinions on the restructuring of the state, and participate in reform activities," he said.

He made these remarks on Friday (November 15) during an event at the Officers‍‍` Club to mark the 3-month anniversary of the public uprising.

The Youth and Sports Adviser further stated, "Thanks to the sacrifices of the martyrs in the anti-discrimination student movement, we are able to sit here today and speak freely. The people of the country are now able to speak freely."

Asif Mahmud also mentioned, "Although Sheikh Hasina, who was ousted from power, has left the country, the roots of fascism still run deep."

He continued, "We are dreaming of building a welfare state for the people of this country. We are committed to eradicating all forms of fascism. It‍‍`s not just the 24 advisers and one chief adviser who are the government — you are also part of the government. Our role is to make policy decisions, and the implementation of those decisions largely lies with you."

He also remarked, "The previous fascist government had policies that were against the people, that killed democracy, and that played with people‍‍`s lives. Their allies in the administration implemented these harmful policies."

Addressing everyone present at the Officers‍‍` Club, Asif Mahmud said, "A public administration reform commission has been established. You will give your opinions on how to ensure its success. What reforms or structural changes can we make to ensure that such high levels of politicization in administration never happen again? To prevent such subservient actions or anti-people stances in the future, your opinions are important."
