The Meteorological Office predicts that 20 districts across the country may see gusty winds with speeds between 45 to 60 km/h. The river ports have been asked to show the number one warning signal.
Meteorologist Shahinul Islam said this in the weather forecast towards the country's internal river ports on Friday morning (March 17).
According to his signed notification, till 6 pm on Friday (March 17) thunderstorm with gusty winds of 45 to 60 kmph may strike in Rangpur, Dinajpur, Rajshahi, Pabna, Bogra, Tangail, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Faridpur, Madaripur, Jessore, Kushtia, Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Comilla towards north/northwest direction over Cox's Bazar and Sylhet region. The river ports of these areas have been asked to show the number one warning signal.
Moreover, the regular weather forecast indicates that there may be scattered hailstorms in several areas across the country. The temperature may slightly drop around the country during both day and night.
