Rohingya leader Muhibullah was gunned down by five men: Police

Five armed men took part in the assassination of Muhibullah, the Rohingya leader who fled Myanmar and took refuge in Ukhia and Kutupalong in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh.

According to police, five gunmen completed the mission to kill Muhibullah in just two minutes. Two days before Muhibullah's assassination, the miscreants met for a killing mission in the Morgaz hills in Lambasia. 

A total of 19 people were involved in the pre-planned killings, police said.

SP Naimul Haque, commander of the 14th Armed Police Battalion (APBN), disclosed the information at a press briefing after the arrest of Azizul Haque, a member of Muhibullah's killing squad in Ukhia, on Saturday (October 23) afternoon.

Besides Azizul Haque, RAB also arrested Mohammad Rashid Prakash Murshid Amin, son of Abdul Mabud of D6 block of Kutupalong Camp-1 and Mohammad Anas, son of Fazal Haque of B block of the same camp and Nur Mohammad, son of Nur Islam.
