Two journalists of online multimedia news portal TheReport.Live have been chosen for a three month-long fellowship.
The Chief Reporter of the media outlet Golam Rabbani and Multimedia Reporter Symun Mubin Pollob were named among the 40 young journalists.
The initiative is arranged by BuildingAssets Journalism School, an organization of Bangladeshi Journalists in International Media (BJIM). The Edward M. Kennedy (EMK) Center is providing funding for the fellowship.

There will be 7 modules covered in the training, including investigative journalism and mobile journalism. The workshop will be conducted by the Bangladeshi journalists who work with international media.
Under this fellowship, the selected candidates will be trained on 7 modules including mobile journalism, investigative Journalism in three months. Bangladeshi journalists working in international media outlets will be resource persons in the sessions.
BuildingAssets Journalism School published the list of selected candidates on Wednesday while invited applications on March 10. BuildingAssets Journalism School organizes various training workshops to enhance the skills of journalists in Bangladesh.
