Miscreants have hacked to death three members of the same family in Jorarganj Shonapahar area of Mirsarai upazila in Chattogram. The victims are the husband, mother and child of the same family.
Police recovered the dead bodies of Mostafa Saudagar, a groceries retailer, his wife Marjana Begum and son Ahmed Hossain in the early hours of Thursday (October 14).
The recovered bodies have been sent to Chattogram Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
On the other hand, Mostafa's other (elder son) Mostafa and his wife who lived in the same house were unharmed in the attack.
Jorarganj station officer-in-charge (OC) Nur Hossain Mamun told the media that miscreants killed three members of the same family with sharp objects. The victims are grocer, his wife and son. Upon getting the information, police recovered three bodies from their house.
Family feud might be the reason for such fatal attack, according to the local police official.
It is mysterious that miscreants only attacked Mostafa and his wife, and their younger son, however the elder son and his wife living in the same house were spared.
