The House of Commons in London, the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council (CEIC), the Labour Party Friends of Bangladesh in the United Kingdom, and the presidents of Algeria and Egypt have all congratulated Sheikh Hasina on her reelection as Prime Minister for a record fifth term and fourth in a row.
In separate messages, they praised Sheikh Hasina`s wise leadership and expressed their intention to collaborate with her for mutual and international benefit.
In a letter sent to Sheikh Hasina on January 12, Virendra Sharma, Member of Parliament for Ealing, Southall House of Commons, London and Vice-Chair, Bangladesh All-Party Parliamentary Group said: "I wanted to write in congratulations for your election victory.”
"Your win is a testament to the great strides forward Bangladesh has taken under your leadership and the esteem you are held in by so many", he added.
Sharma said his own constituency, Ealing Southall, has many success stories led by members of the Bangladeshi diaspora, and that these ties continue to bind countries together.
It was an honor to be invited to participate in Bangladesh Armed Forces Day last year and speak on partnership and cooperation between the UK and Bangladesh, he said.
"I look forward to hearing soon about the success you have planned for Bangladesh and wish you the best for your historic fifth term," he said.
In another letter to Sheikh Hasina, Paul Bristow, Member of Parliament for Peterborough, House of Commons, London, said that he is writing to congratulate her on her fourth straight term as Prime Minister of Bangladesh.
"I would also like to congratulate you on your incredible record as the longest-serving prime minister in the history of Bangladesh, and on becoming the world`s longest-serving female head of government," Bristow said.
It is clear that under your leadership as prime minister your government is delivering results for Bangladesh and improving the lives of the Bangladeshi people, the letter reads.
"Your business-friendly policies and infrastructure investment have delivered the right environment for economic growth," he said.
This sustained growth is delivering substantial improvements in the wealth and happiness of your people, and you should be incredibly proud of this record, Paul Bristow said.
"Your continued engagement with the world will continue to expand Bangladesh`s already impressive network of global trade," he said.
The compassion and humanitarian leadership of your government continue to be demonstrated in the sheltering of the Rohingya people who have been forced from their homeland in Myanmar (Burma), he mentioned.
"I hope that someday the Rohingya are allowed home in a safe and dignified way," Paul Bristow said.
In another letter written to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Lord Marland of Odstock, Chairman of Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council, said: "I am writing to extend our warmest congratulations on your recent and well-deserved victory in the general election of the People`s Republic of Bangladesh.
"Your re-election is a testament to the trust and confidence that the people of Bangladesh have in your leadership. Your visionary leadership has not only brought stability and prosperity to the nation but has also enhanced its standing on the global stage."
The letter further said: "We are confident that, under your continued guidance, Bangladesh will continue to develop and prosper economically. Your commitment to fostering a business-friendly environment, promoting innovation, and advancing sustainable development aligns perfectly with the objectives of CWEIC, and we look forward to witnessing, and supporting, the positive impact of your policies on the nation and its people.”
He said that the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council continues to be committed to assisting Bangladesh on its path to greater economic prosperity, and that we are pleased to work with your administration on projects that encourage trade, investment, and sustainable development.
"Once again, congratulations on your well-earned victory. We wish you continued success in leading Bangladesh to new heights," he said.

"We look forward to working with the Bangladesh Government in the coming years and to arranging more visits for senior UK Parliamentarians to experience Bangladesh for themselves," the letter reads.
The letter also expressed best wishes for a peaceful and successful future for Bangladesh and your premiership.
Meanwhile, Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune congratulated Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on her victory in the election.
He also wished her success in carrying out the new mandate`s responsibilities. The Algerian president extended an invitation to the prime minister to visit Algeria.
“I would like to express on this occasion my constant readiness to continue working towards consolidating our ties of friendship and solidarity, as well as raising the level of our relations and enhancing bilateral cooperation, so as to serve both countries’ interests,” he said in a congratulatory message to Sheikh Hasina.
Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina won the Gopalganj-3 constituency in a landslide victory, her eighth term as a Member of Parliament, while her party won 223 seats to form the government in the much-anticipated election on January 7.
Furthermore, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi congratulated Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on her reelection on Monday.
“I extend my warmest congratulations to Your Excellency on winning the general elections that took place recently in your country, securing a new term as Prime Minister of Bangladesh,” Sisi said in a letter sent to PM Sheikh Hasina.
