KU admission tests to begin tomorrow across multiple centres

The admission tests for first-year undergraduate (honours) programmes at Khulna University (KU) for the 2025–26 academic session will begin tomorrow.

According to university officials, a total of 108,266 candidates will compete for 1,109 seats under four units.

The admission test for the ‘D’ Unit under the School of Management and Business Administration will be held on Thursday from 10:30 am to 12:00 noon at centres in Khulna and Dhaka. A total of 3,603 candidates are expected to sit for the exam.

Later the same day, the ‘C’ Unit admission test will take place from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm at centres in Khulna, Dhaka, Rajshahi and Chattogram. The unit comprises the Schools of Arts and Humanities, Social Sciences, Law, Education and Fine Arts, with 36,734 candidates participating.

On December 19, the ‘A’ Unit admission test for the School of Science, Engineering and Technology will be held from 10:00 am to 11:30 am at the same four centres. A drawing test for Architecture applicants will follow from 11:40 am to 12:40 pm. A total of 38,961 candidates will appear for the ‘A’ Unit test.

On the same day, the ‘B’ Unit admission test for the School of Life Sciences will be conducted from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm at centres in Khulna, Dhaka, Rajshahi and Chattogram, with 28,968 candidates expected to take part.

University authorities said all preparations have been completed to ensure the examinations are held smoothly and securely. Security measures have been strengthened at all centres, and coordination with the relevant administrative bodies will be maintained.
