The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today predicted rain in several parts of the country over the next 24 hours starting from 9:00 am.
According to a Met Office bulletin, rain or thundershowers are likely at one or two places in Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka, Khulna and Barishal divisions. Elsewhere in the country, the weather is expected to remain mainly dry with a temporarily partly cloudy sky.
The bulletin said night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged, while day temperatures could fall slightly in the western region. Day temperatures in other parts of the country are expected to remain largely unchanged.
On Monday, the highest temperature was recorded at 34 degrees Celsius in Ambagan under the Chattogram division. Today’s lowest temperature was 15 degrees Celsius in Tetulia and Rajarhat under Rangpur division.
In Dhaka, the sun will set in the capital at 5:58 pm today and rise at 6:25 am tomorrow.
