The northern Arabian Sea is currently hosting the ninth edition of the ‘Aman-25’ multinational naval exercise, organized by Pakistan.

Among the countries taking part, Bangladesh has joined forces with a number of other nations, including China, the United States, Indonesia, Iran, Japan, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, the United Arab Emirates, and Oman.

A report from Pakistan’s media outlet, Dawn, shared that Pakistan’s Navy Chief, Admiral Naveed Ashraf, took time to visit the foreign naval vessels involved in the exercise.

Speaking to those aboard, Admiral Ashraf said,

“The ‘Aman Exercise’ reflects our commitment to peace. It will also help strengthen maritime security in the region and improve cooperation between regional and international navies.”

The Navy Chief was joined by senior officers and commanding personnel.

In a discussion with them, Admiral Ashraf further emphasized,

“Pakistan strongly believes in cooperative efforts to maintain security and order on the seas. This belief has led us to consistently contribute to regional peace and stability, particularly through initiatives like the Regional Maritime Security Patrol (RMSP) and the multinational ‘Aman’ exercise.”

Admiral Ashraf also pointed out that such exercises foster stronger cooperation and partnerships, bringing all the participating nations closer to their shared goal of ensuring peace and prosperity in the region.
