The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has launched its election manifesto for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, pledging to revoke Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir and enforce the Citizenship Act (CAA) nationwide.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled the party`s manifesto, titled `Sankalp Patra,` at the BJP central office in Delhi on Sunday, April 14, vowing to foster a `strong India.`
Following the manifesto`s release, Prime Minister Modi highlighted the accomplishments of the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government over the past decade. He stated, "We have lifted 25 crore people out of poverty. Additionally, we have generated numerous employment opportunities, facilitated investments, and bolstered infrastructure development. Free ration will be guaranteed for the next 5 years, and the BJP is announcing a zero-tolerance policy towards corruption."
With India`s 18th Lok Sabha elections just four days away, BJP and NDA alliance candidates are contesting all 543 seats. The final phase of election campaigning is underway nationwide, with the BJP outlining its vision for the next five years prior to the polls.
