At least two people were killed and two more were injured in a shooting Friday afternoon outside a Chicago high school, police said.
The police said, four 16-year-olds were shot near Benito Juarez High School.
The shooting occurred around 1:50 p.m. outside the Benito Juárez Community Academy.
"We are conducting a pretty aggressive investigation," Chicago Police Supt. David Brown said.
Speaking at a news conference, he confirmed the deaths of two of the victims.
A Chicago Fire Department spokesperson said all four were taken to the same hospital. One boy was declared dead on arrival, another was in critical condition, and two other teens, suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
