`High Heel Dance`- a drama made on the struggling lfe of the dancers - has been released for audience in Youtube. Written by Rudranil Ahmed, the Bangla drama is directed by Maliha Mostofa Suchana.
Suchana is the former Head of Digital team at the online multimedia news portal TheReport.live.
Her drama starred Shahjahan Shamrat, Maati Siddiquee, Avirup Roy, Sajid Utchas, Ashfaqur Rahman Abir. The drama is produced by MM Ruhul Amin of Sunbox Production House.
Suchana said, "So many difficulties have been circled the lifespan of artists including the dancers. There are various financial and social tensions."
"It is actually quite difficult to make a living by ensuring proper respect for an artist. Reality forces the artist to do many things. It is necessary to overcome various obstacles at home and abroad and move forward regularly. I have tried to address the issue in drama," she added.
Although the High Heel Dance is my first drama directed by Suchana, she enjoyed the work a lot despite facing so many challenges. Everyone in the team has helped a lot, she futhered.
