Pakistan has accused India of being involved in the terrorist attack on the Jaffar Express.

The allegation was made by Shafqat Ali, the spokesperson for Pakistan‍‍`s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during a briefing on Thursday, March 13.

However, Ali did not elaborate on the specifics of the claim. This news was reported by Geo TV.

The Jaffar Express, a crucial rail service in Pakistan, was targeted by terrorists, but thankfully, a swift rescue operation managed to bring the passengers to safety.

In his address, Shafqat Ali stated that the attackers had been in contact with their associates in Afghanistan.

Intelligence reports, he revealed, confirmed that intercepted phone calls proved the attackers were coordinating with their commanders, who are located in Afghanistan.

Ali also emphasized that Pakistan had repeatedly urged the Afghan interim government to prevent groups like the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) from using Afghan soil to orchestrate attacks.

However, according to him, the Afghan government has failed to take action.

"Our goal is to build a stronger and more friendly relationship with Afghanistan," Ali stated.

Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has condemned the attack, with Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, the Director-General of ISPR, assuring that those responsible will be brought to justice. He further clarified that there is no connection between the terrorists and Islam, Pakistan, or Balochistan.

The ISPR issued a further statement asserting that intelligence reports have confirmed the attack was led by a group of terrorists operating from Afghanistan, with direct communication between the attackers and the terror leaders in Afghanistan throughout the entire operation.

This development has sparked concerns over the continued use of Afghan territory by terrorist organizations, with calls for more effective action from the Afghan government to prevent such incidents in the future.
