Pakistan got back power in their most cities on Tuesday, a day after a nationwide blackout that left the country people without electricity.
The outage started around 7:30 am on Monday.
Khurram Dastgir Khan the energy minister said on Monday evening that power was being gradually restored.
Electricity returned to Karachi and Lahore overnight, but local cities got it after a long hassle.
Khan said a variation in frequency on the national grid caused the cut, as power generation units were turned on early Monday morning.
