U.S. president declares emergency in California as winter storms continue

Joe Biden, U.S. President has declared an emergency in California as winter storms continue.

The White House released a statement on Monday, that the President has ordered federal assistance to supplement State of California, tribal and local response efforts due to severe winter storms, flooding and mudslides.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security and Federal Emergency Management are coordinating all disaster relief efforts.

The White House for a presidential emergency declaration will support ongoing storm response and recovery efforts in the state.
