Munni Saha held from Dhaka’s Karwan Bazar

Detective Branch (DB) officers of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested journalist Munni Saha in Dhaka’s Karwan Bazar.

A DB team arrested Munni in the Karwan Bazar area at around 9:30 pm, said DB Additional Commissioner Rezaul Karim Mallik.

He said that Munni Saha faces several cases in the capital. 

Responding to questions, he said that they have not yet determined under which police station‍‍`s case the arrest will be filed.

The television host Munni was rescued by the police from Karwan Bazar after a group of people blocked her way tonight (30 November).
