The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) has published the final results of the 47th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination, selecting a total of 1,521 candidates.
The results were published on Sunday afternoon.
According to the PSC, 1,320 candidates have been recommended for cadre posts, while 201 have been selected for non-cadre positions in the 47th BCS examination.
The notification for the 47th BCS was published on November 28, 2024. The preliminary examination was held on September 19, 2025. The PSC set a record by publishing the results just nine days after the exam.
The written examination was held simultaneously from November 27 to December 18, 2025, across Dhaka, Rajshahi, Chattogram, Khulna, Barishal, Sylhet, Rangpur, and Mymensingh.
The written exam results were published on April 7, showing that 3,631 candidates had provisionally passed.
According to the BCS circular, a total of 3,688 candidates were supposed to be recruited, including 3,487 cadre posts and 201 non-cadre posts.
