Bollywood’s “Mr. Perfectionist” Aamir Khan, whose third marriage had been widely speculated in the entertainment industry, has now confirmed that the rumours are true. The actor revealed that he will marry Gauri Spratt on July 5.
The 61-year-old actor made the announcement while speaking to reporters at a special screening of the film Pritam and Pedro in Mumbai on Thursday (July 2).
According to news agency ANI, when asked about the wedding, Khan said, “Yes, I am getting married on July 5th, and it is going to be a very small, intimate wedding. We are hosting it at home with both our families.”
Describing the day as extremely special, he added, “It is a very special day for us. We seek everyone`s prayers and blessings; please pray for our happiness and a wonderful journey ahead.”
His elder son, Junaid Khan, was also present during the interaction and was seen smiling as his father made the announcement.
Khan had first publicly spoken about his relationship with Gauri Spratt during his 60th birthday celebrations last year in March. At that time, he introduced her to the media and confirmed that they had been in a relationship.
Aamir Khan was previously married to Reena Dutta, with whom he has two children, Junaid and Ira Khan. He later married filmmaker Kiran Rao, with whom he shares a son, Azad. The couple announced their separation in 2021.
At a pre-birthday gathering in Mumbai last year, Khan officially introduced Gauri Spratt to the media and revealed that they had been in a relationship for over a year.
