Dhaka is again on the first place in the list of polluted cities of air pollution. Dhaka`s Air Quality Index (AQI) score was 191 at around 9:30 am. Accordingly, the air quality is `unhealthy`.
At the same time, India`s capital Delhi and Kuwait`s capital Kuwait City were ranked second and third respectively in terms of poor air quality.
According to IQAir, at that time of this morning, the presence of PM2.5, a very small particle that is dangerous to human health, was 26.5 times more than the standard level of the World Health Organization (WHO). At the same time, the presence of PM2.5 in Delhi`s air was 14.4 times higher than the WHO standard.
The company considers air quality in cities with a score of 51 to 100 as `moderate or tolerable`.
Cities with a score of 101 to 150 are categorized as `unhealthy for sensitive populations` in IQAir`s ranking.
A city air with a score of 151 to 200 is considered in the `unhealthy` category.
Cities with a score of 201 to 300 in the ranking are rated as having `very unhealthy` air.
A city with a score above 300 is considered `hazardous` by IQAir.
