The Adani Power Plant in India began to supply power again from early Thursday after a portion of its transmission line in Chapainawabganj tripped.
A spokesman for the Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB), Shamim Hasan said, the supply started up again about 4:45am.
According to Hasan, the power supply was halted at around 2:30 pm on Wednesday as a result of a fault with the transmission line at Rahanpur in Chapainawabganj, which led to an increase in power outages throughout the country`s western region.
