Fire broke out at a commercial building in the Wari area early on Tuesday morning has been doused, officials said.
No casualty was reported.
At Kaptanbazar Ershad Market, on the ground floor of a two-storey building the fire started spreading 6:00am.
It took the fire service team half an hour to douse the flames, said Shahjahan Shikder, deputy assistant director (Fire Service and Civil Defence headquarters).
He stated that an investigation has been launched to figure out the exact cause of the fire.
